Wine-growing has a long tradition in Moldova. The small country lies on the same degree of latitude as the famous Burgundy in France, the geological and climatic conditions are favourable for viniculture.

The Name “Soroca” comes from a town in the north of Moldova which is also called “gypsy capital of Moldova” because of its impressive buildings build by Romas.
