Winemaker – Einig Zenzen
The Zenzen family has been producing wines in the heart of the iconic Mosel Valley since 1636. And whilst Rieslings are still produced in the family’s estate, Zenzen has embraced the global demand for international wines. Headed up by Peter Zenzen, a purpose-built winery capable of bottling up to 40,000 bottles per hour has been set-up in Kaisersesch, just 160km away from Frankfurt, Germany.
Zenzen offers carries a wide range of wines for retailers and distributors, carrying wines from 13 countries including Australia, U.S.A and Chile as well as all major European wine producing countries.
Currently Zenzen export to over 80 countries in a vast range of forms, from 10 litre Bag in Box, P.E.T. to more traditional 75cl glass bottles. The winery carries all major health and safety certification including International Food Standard certification.
Winemaker – Cielo E Terra
Is a union between the Cielo family, now working with forth generations family members and Cantine dei Colli Berici.
Representing over 2,000 vine growers and 3,700 hectares of vineyards, the Cantine dei Colli Berici cooperative wanted to be involved in the bottling and marketing of their various wines.
The Cielo family desired to have better control over the supply chain and to approach it in a more innovative and integrated way: from vineyard to market.
The joint venture’s main goal was to protect local diversity and to provide fair value across the entire supply chain and over different vintages.
The winery also became a leader in sustainability practices, with various projects to support people and help the planet.
